“Courage is grace under pressure.”

Mhlope.

Mhlope is the word for ‘White’ in the Zulu language of South Africa.

This collection is inspired by the bright midday sun, in the dry season on the Serengeti, where the contrast between the subject and its surroundings are extreme. The resultant effect focuses the spotlight firmly on the subject, which crystalises the “story” I’ve intended to tell.
